Booking Guidelines

Please read all guidelines before booking to ensure that the service you are choosing is right for you. If you have any questions just send us an email and we will help tailor the service to be perfect for your event. Prices for each are for the entire gig.

When booking a gig please specify what kind of event you are booking in for, where the venue is, and any extra information you’d like to us to know about the event. If you have any logos, images, or videos that you’d like included in the light show please include these files in an email to parfaitluz@gmail.com .

Analogue Lightshow
£175
Slide projectors, overhead projectors, and an optikinetic projector. All of the visuals you will get for a gig like this are mixed live using these projectors. Can fill the whole room or be done rear-projected - depending on the venue. Perfect for events that want a light show just like they did back in the 60s.

Digital Lightshow
£150
Using one or two digital projectors (based on the venue) this setup is ideal for a venue with less space, or where you only want one segment of the room to have projections. This is perfect if you have specific images, logos, or video clips that you’d like to be included. The liquids will be mixed live and fed into the computer, using VJ software to combine all of these elements together. May be better suited for club nights and events where you want a very fast-paced light show.

Hybrid Lightshow
£250
A mixture of both Analogue and Digital Lightshow techniques, you’ll get the best of both worlds. This is our full service package with analogue projectors, live visuals being mixed digitally, and any images you want being included. The full potential of all the lightshow techniques we have learned so far.
Please note this will require the most space and prep time.

Custom Video
£50-£150
Perfect for if you still want a bit of our psychedelic style, but the venue isn’t suitable. Maybe there isn’t enough space, you’re too far away from where we operate, or if you just don’t want a full setup in the venue.
Email us with what you would like included in the video, how long you want it to be, and in what style. The video can be looped for the duration of the event and we will give you guidance on how to best set it up yourself.
Please note that these videos are for use only at the event they were made for, and that any digital distribution of the original video without prior consent from Parfait Luz will be considered a breach of copyright.

Venue Specifications
Some venues may not be suitable for a light show, when booking please specify whether the venue already has its own digital projector, (Don’t worry if they don’t - we have one) and where the light show can be set up. There must be enough space to set up the projectors and for us to be able to access them without disturbing the event. Somewhere with a balcony or elevated area would be ideal, but anywhere with a designated space would be okay. If this isn’t possible then consider a fully digital light show, as this can be done with much less space and from further away.

Please note:
The projections will not show up well if there is lots of light in the venue. If you are hosting a daytime event with lots of natural light the projections will be very faint or not be seen at all. If the venue has lots of bright lighting that cannot be turned down in the areas you’d like to be projected on this will also be the case. A pre-made video shown on a screen would be a better option for events with too much light.

Deposit
A deposit of £50 will be required once the date and time for your booking has been confirmed. The deposit will be taken out of your final price for the booking. If you cancel the booking less than 48 hours before the event the deposit will not be refunded.

T&Cs

We have liability insurance through Hiscox Insurance, and will provide the certificate for this during the confirmation process for the booking. If the event will have more than 500 people in attendance please let us know.

Gigs are currently only available to be booked in Glasgow, Scotland. If you are looking to book a gig for somewhere else in Scotland please contact us and we will see what can be arranged, this will likely include an added fee for transport costs. If you are outside Scotland please consider the option of a pre-made video for use at your event instead.
